Random stuff 2009

not much has happened all though i can say that i have started back to college and that is pretty cool all in itself...i go monday-thursday from 6pm-10pm. i am going for medical specialties, so i can't wait til i can get a job and put my skills & knowledge to good use..

the kids just started summer and it's only 2 weeks into the whole thing and they are already going CRAZY!! if they aren't i am. :)~ but the boys like to play the DS and the girls just like to have fun. well most girls, kenadee likes to help me vaccum whch hopefully she will do when she gets bigger. ?!?!?

so the last couple of weeks i have been trying to get kenadee to start going on the potty... but for some reason she is either terrified of the whole thing or just isn't grabbing the conscept right now at her age. she is 2 1/2 so i think right now is as good as time as any. ??? but she has her "favorite" spots to do a # 2 in her diaper... :)

Updates on the baby horse.

So Grandpa Dave is still taking care of the baby horse and the mom (Hope), who has finally gotten use to us coming up to pet them and giving them treats (apples), and i just happen to have my camera & got these cute pictures. Also in the meantime that Gpa Dave has the baby & mama horse, he has accquired 2 new young horses, (Peanut & Daisy), & kenadee LOVES Peanut, she has said that Peanut is offically her horse.

So the kids like to play out in the water. Kenadee got Kayden off gaurd w/o the hose in his hands, for once. Oh & i was sitting outside trying to help David w/the air conditioner, that is always a pain in the butt. This is my favorite picture that i was able to get of Kenadee.

Okay so i haven't blogged in a LONG time!!

So we haven't been to busy since Feb... Kenadee got a new "Big Girl" bed, that was the best thing that i EVER invested in, cause now she sleeps ALL NIGHT in her OWN bed... YEAH ME!!

We of course did Easter Eggs, and went American Forks egg hunt w/Brett, Moe and their kids. It was raining a little not too bad considering the day before, it was raining non-stop...

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO ME!!! :)

yup it's my anniversary, 5 yrs to the day:) i honestly didn't think that we would make it this long?? people always told us that the first 5 yrs are the toughest and to just be happy and think of what you have and not what you don't have... so thank you everyone:) I LOVE YOU DAVID!! you are my friend, my rock and my soul mate...

my watch party!!

so last night i had my exciting Bumbles watch party. i would say that i did a great job for my first actual party that i have ever hosted.... i was able to get the watch that i wanted and even 1 FREE!! i am so happy that the people that came, were able to come and visit and have a good time... THANKS!! oh K & K (kayden & kenadee) had fun too, kayden was trying to get people to buy out the whole table...LOVE YOU SON :). kenadee just couldn't keep her little paws off of all the watch bands, she just kept saying "pretty mama, pretty." it was so cute. she was able to get a bow for one of her hats, that i put bows on to make it look cute...LOVE YOU!!!
as for david, well he hung out in our bedroom most of the night, but everynow and then he would come out to steal a brownie or two...

this morning we were getting ready as normal on a sunday, but we had to go to G&G J's house to get Kayden, and i asked Kenadee what she wanted to wear she told me, "a elmo, elmo mom!!" so we put elmo on

and then about 20 minutes later she comes

out of her bedroom w/her pink tuu-tuu. but thats not the funny part, the funny part is

that she wouldn't let us take the tuu-tuu off

so she wore it to G&G's and Gpa J just looked

at me and said "she is her own little person

isn't she?" (the gloves were her own doing!!)

yesterday mornign Kayden was watching Journey to the Center of the Earth, and i had a pair of 3-D glasses floating around from when we went and saw it in the theater....what a "AWESOME" movie that is one that i wanted to buy but just haven't gotten around to it...(no $ really).. so Kenadee puts them on & she totally reminds of a mini drew carey!!!

so the last couple of night we have had our friends over just to hang out and
watch The Biggest Loser & American Idol... who knew that 2 families had the
same things in common....here a few cute pics of their kids... Mallory(5),
Lincoln(almost 2), & Hallie(4)... everytime Lincoln comes over he heads
straight to the "pink horse" or the vaccum... and Hallie love to hang w/Kayden.

it took me almost 2 minutes just to open 1 treat, for a 2 yr old thats a pretty long time. so i was concentrating on this one for along time to the point thati was literally eating the wrapper at one point. here is the picture mom got...

just before scouts tonight we had to go grocery shopping "yuck", well in the meantime while writing the list, Kenadee decided to climb up on the table chair and mess with thing on the counter. and then when she was done, she fell off the chair and split her lip open, along with a bloody nose. while trying to calm her down she started gagging on the site of her own blood,(which dave & i thought was funny.) i know your probably thinking rude, they're laughing at their kid and she's hurt... it was just one of those had to be here moments!!

i couldn't get a good picture before so this is one i got at the church, i was really just trying to get her lip, but got this instead. I LOVE YOU Kenadee!!!

PineWood Derby 2009

Last night was are Stake Pinewood Derby, and Kayden had a blast, this was his first one that we were able to attend. The years past we have been busy. Well we weren't able to make Kayden a car that he could call his so he had to borrow one from years past,(his is the yellow taxi cab on the end.) and every time it won 1st or 2nd, which he thought was "AWESOME", so awesome that every time he raced, Kayden would come to me and say "this is so cool I think I'm gonna pee my pants!!"

A family in our ward has two little girls that think they need to make Derby's also so they did just that and this is the result that they got,(Kenadee thought the car were cool too.) They have 2 older brothers that are in scouts so that's why they built theirs. And when it was all over the little bros & sis's got to race....

chopped my hair!!!!

so the last couple of weeks I've been wanting to get a haircut from my SIL, Kassi she is AWESOME, so instead of getting the usual which is, "oh just take two inches here & there & thin it out". I decided to go a total new look and major change...which is an A-line bob, but before kassi started i had to ask if the A-line bobs were actually in style, so that's what i went for i hope everyone like it... cause i know i do.:)

moms & muffins

today at Kayden's school was moms & muffins, which is where the students have their mom come to the school and read books to the kids, and then afterwards we share a muffin... The school only does one grade at a time throughout the school year, and this time it was the 4th grade that got to share the experince. this year Hayden, Braxton, & Ty got to share in the experince with us.. Braxton, Ty and Kenadee all thought that it was pretty cool, but Hayden was a sour about the whole thing, and didn't even want a taste of a "YUMMY" Poppyseed Muffin that is my favorite & Kayden likes the center, well at least that's what he told me today??? he said he would've gotten a Chocolate one but they were TOO messy... :)

so today kayden started his "COOL" after school club, which i like cause then it gives me a little bit more time to run errands or allow kenadee to take an EXTRA long nap:) ha ha... like that ever happens, so while waiting kenadee thinks that she can play up front with ALL the controls, etc...:)

not interested!!

whenever we go up Gpa's house, Kayden has NO interest what so ever in the horses. it's kinda cute to see the different personalites between the two. Kayden would rather drive montser trucks, dig in the dirt, or something boyish..... Kayden is driving a montser truck on Gpa's snow that hasn't been walked on or touched. which i tought was cool cause you see every snowflake that had fallen. When we were getting ready to leave, i told Kayden to get his truck, so he went outside to find it but he couldn't cause he kicked it in the snow & couldn't find it, so now he will have to wait till the snow melts to find it... HOPEFULLY!!

almost every Sunday we go up to Grandpa Dave's house so i can take my two buddies, Luke & Jazz, apples those are their favorite treats. if they weren't they fav, they are now:) YUMMY!!

so tonight we had navajo tacos.... YUMMY!! it was her first time to ever taste one, and she thought it was DELICIOUS!!! :) thanks dave! you can tell she enjoyed them by the sour cream mustache that she has on her face.. :) Kayden thought that we should have them every night. i told him that we will shoot for at least once a month...

Rough housing after school!!

Kenadee LOVES it when her big brother gets home from school. the thing she likes most is when he picks her & twirls her around till she can't walk, she just srceams as high as she can....
